Lucie Jirku is a Czech artist lives and works in Prague. Jirku studied and later graduated of the prominent Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. 2001-2002 Fashion Design and Painting 2002-2007 with MA degree. During her studies (2005) she spent one semester in Fine Art studio as an exchange student at the University of Southampton, Winchester School of Art (United Kingdom). Since 2003 Lucie Jirku has been creating and developing a variety of projects in architecture, graphic design and regularly do painting. Lucie Jirku's significant abstract style is centred on the colorful harmony and formal simplicity, mostly geometrical abstract paintings of a landscape. Original paintings created by Lucie Jirku are in private collections in Czech Republic, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and in Australia.
