I had quite a few thoughts and directions about this painting. Some of which I will share here

Flags always give a sense of celebration, of self-respect, of marking a place, an achievement, of separateness.
The townspeople mark an event or celebration
The mountain climbers have been able to reach the summit where they are waiting for flapping flags indicating that only they succeeded.
A flag of a country waving proudly and looking from afar and saying that it is a place of an existing nation, of life and struggle
Flags that fill the cities around the world in the parades of pride that talk about the struggle for equality, which define and pride diversity, that paint the city in pink

Pink is almost the only color missing from the Gay Pride flag. And in fact he is so pink. It Is a rainbow, It is a lot of colors and request / demand for acceptance, a request for softness.

Flags that flutter even in a breeze, create a lot of movement and together with their colors, there is a dance. It is supposedly highlighted against the background of an urban environment where the buildings stand heavy and static. But I feel that many times the buildings join this dance, in the lines and corners of houses and roofs, and I'm not sure who gives the background.

Roni Kotler is a figurative artist whose works are a processed and symbolic external expression of her inner and personal discourse, a discourse that undergoes a process of visual representation and presents to the world a new and complete creation, like a wrapped gift. Thus, the aesthetic and visual combine with the conceptual and symbolic, giving life to different thoughts, associations and feelings. Roni puts an emphasis on light and colors, as a rule that allow and invite a dialogue with the viewer and produce a feeling of freshness, intimacy and naivety, this alongside a more hidden layer.
