Neut King lives in Berkeley, California. Their transdisciplinary work deals with questions surrounding the loosely defined term "human nature" amid themes of crisis unique to the 20th and 21st centuries. In 2016 they received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Art Practices from Portland State University.
