Kadri Veisner comes from the small southern Estonian town of Võru. Her great-grandfather was a village tailor, which is where his genetic interest in working with clothes comes from. As a child, living in the Soviet Union at a time when neither clothes nor dolls were available, one could only dream of Barbies, so the little girl was resourceful and started drawing paper dolls for herself. With the great-grandfather's Singer sewing machine, the items found in the grandmother's wardrobe were given a new image by re-sewing. She returned to drawing dolls, i.e. fashion drawing, also painting while studying fashion stylistics at the Estonian Academy of Arts (finished 2014). Her passion for fashion always keeps her eyes on track, where help is needed in fashion styling or a fashion photo, some stylish fashion pose catches her eye, so she grabs an ink pen and watercolor paints and immediately captures it on paper. To date, the pictures have also entered the frame in larger and smaller formats.

Kadri Veisner is a fashion stylist and fashion drawing artist, who quickly (in 1-2 minutes) is able to sketch fashion figures on paper, when given a model standing in front of her or a fashion photo. Kadri Veisner's fashion drawings are very colorful and eye-catching, feminine and essentially sketched directly on paper with one straight line. She uses aquarelle colors and ink for conjuring up her images. Kadri Veisner comes from the small southern Estonian town of Võru. Her great-grandfather was a village tailor, which is where her genetic interest in working with clothes comes from. As a child, living in the Soviet Union at a time when neither clothes nor dolls were available, one could only dream of Barbies, so the little girl was resourceful and started drawing paper dolls and (clothes to put on) for herself. With her great-grandfather's Singer sewing machine, the items found in the grandmother's wardrobe were given a new image by re-sewing. She returned to drawing dolls, now making fashion drawings in the same style, while studying fashion stylistics at the Estonian Academy of Arts (finished 2014). As a teacher, she created a system to teach others to draw the same way, and by popular demand, Kadri's fashion drawings moved onto bags, hoodies, t-shirts, and from there on to various products. Her passion for fashion always keeps her eyes on track, where help is needed in fashion styling or a fashion photo, some stylish fashion pose catches her eye, so she grabs her ink pen and watercolors and immediately captures it on paper. To date, the pictures have also been framed in larger and smaller formats. Painting with watercolors has become another very big passion, having fulfilled commissions primarily from private clients.
