Patience. What color is patience? I see it as purple or violet. They say that patience is a virtue. Unfortunately, it is a virtue that I must work on. Meditation. Be present. Think. Pray. Stop. Pause. I hope my viewers will identify with their own sense of patience. As the swirls of color intersect with the purple patience, our wills are strained to go back to the place where our minds can find peace. This is a small painting measuring 10 X 8 inches but it has a big message. Stop and appreciate every day. Try to smile and to be patient. We are all only human. Thank you for your interest in my profile! I have been mesmorized with art, painting, drawing and photography ever since I can remember. I used to beg my parents for drawing lessons when I was only five years old. I have integrated art into my life for over thirty years. I am a professional photographer and work out of a lovely art studio in my 1776 farmhouse. I love my rescue dogs, horseback riding, hiking, playing the harp and piano, cooking gourmet vegetarian meals and listening to international music. I also teach French and Spanish to middle school and high school students. One of my favorite past times is wandering through a museum and getting inspired by so many magnificent works. Each piece has a story. Each piece has the heart of the artist inside. I believe that we are all connected throughout the ages through art. Art is a powerful form of self-expression and is the window into all of our souls.
