I am glad to represent artists of famous Leningrad school of painting. The Leningrad School of Painting is a group of Soviet painters, established in Leningrad in 1930-1950 years around reformed Imperial Academy of Fine Arts and unified by the Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists (1932-1991).The secret of the special appeal of the Leningrad school of painting is its strong link with the traditions of Russian art school prerevolutionary and post-revolutionary era. In 1930-ies, the major Russian artists and teachers had a great influence on the formation of the school , the most of them were students of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, there are Repin' students, Chistyakov's, Kuindzhi's. In the postwar years, their students become the keepers and followers their traditions. So in Leningrad carried inextricable link between Russian art of the late XIX-early XX century and generations of artists the middle and second half of the XX century: from I.Repin, P.Chistyakov, A. For the Leningrad school is characteristic traditionalism and general values common to European and Russian art. Another important feature of the school became the criteria of professionalism and ethics.
