ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Painting: Acrylic on Canvas. "Quarantine #1" Acrylic on canvas, 120 x 40 cm, (2020). Ships rolled in a tube. The vibrant tones changes with daylight. The pictures are natural. -- Argentine artist based in The Netherlands. My main territory is paper and canvas intervention in traditional and contemporary ways. I meticulously work with pastels, ink, acrylic, glue, detritus, hair and rubber shavings. I work with the interaction between the intuition, the control and order. A synthetic and gestural geometry predominates in my productions with a printmaking appearance. My practice starts from space and time with a subtle unsettling output like telling a story.

My work is about fragile moments and its representation. I constantly explore through different series and mediums; drawing, painting, sculpture, installation and photography are all part of my practice. By using repetition and grids, I experiment with debris and hardware supplies while still using traditional materials like graphite, pastels, paint and ink. My work navigates the dialectics between these materials and the ephemeral instants. [...] I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I also earned a degree in Visual Arts Education. In 2016 I moved to Milan, Italy to continue my studies and art research. I participated in different art clinics and art education seminars. I am currently living and working in The Netherlands.
