About The Artwork
Kimpurushis are a class of creatures that are described in ancient Indian texts. It is believed that they are able to take any shape (for example, a yeti), appear and disappear at will. They live in the Himalayas, where they have a whole country-Kimpurusha-varsha. I have always been inspired by the Vedic scriptures. They claim that there are 8 million 400 thousand forms of living beings in the world. 400 thousand of them are reasonable. In the future, I plan to create a whole collection of paintings from the series "living beings described in the Vedas".
