About The Artwork
This mixed media work was inspired by the dissolution of the Middle East peace process after the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin in 1995. The faux gold leaf references the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount and the central figure is an abstract dove with broken wings. It has been over 20 years since his assassination and we still wrestle with no peace in the middle east.
