Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.
I like the idea of the interconnectivity of all life on Earth. Like a language written in all things, unseen but read and felt in your soul.
The patterns and energy sinking into you as you drift in meditation along the glassy surface of the reflective water.
"At the edge of extinction only love remains" Guy McPherson
Many people living on a hamster wheel have stopped communing with nature in the pursuit of profit. The 6th mass extinction is underway along with abrupt climate change. I painted this work in 'deep reflection' of the grief I feel witnessing the circus of stupidity that is now mainstream human culture. Witnessing the degradation and death of all miraculous life on Earth. We are in the midst of causing our own extinction, while corporate media promotes only superficial trivia to keep everyone distracted. I actually feel sick seeing how far civilisation has sunk, and how many innocent beautiful animals suffer loss of habitat due to rampant greed and psychopathy.
