About The Artwork
'Rain's Coming...' is an oil painting with deliberate and some expressive strokes. Mountains and bodies of water are a favourite theme so I combined the two! Since deciding to sell my artwork I have been doing more paintings than I have in years. The inspiration is flowing so this painting and all others to come will be a result of this creative wave I'm on. Canvas is ready to hang; does not come with hanging hardware. Painting is signed on the front, bottom right corner with year date.

Jhean-Mychel was born in Jamaica, raised in the Bahamas, and currently lives in New York (US). She has been creating art since she was 10 years old; from poetry to drawings. By her senior year in high school, she began painting and found another interest. Jhean-Mychel has taken many classes and elective courses in art, namely photography, pottery, and drawing. But, when it comes to painting, she is mostly self-taught. Jhean-Mychel's preferred mediums are acrylic and oil. She has recently been trying to test her hand with watercolour. Altogether, Jhean-Mychel has been painting for fifteen years. Her subjects are primarily abstract or nature/landscape.
