About The Artwork
Triptych, modular picture, oil, acrylic, golden patina, canvas on stretchers. The size of the modules is 30x40 cm, 24x30 cm and 18x24 cm, the total width is 72cm. Rain season. The trip to Cambodia, the unique nature, flora and fauna of the tropical jungle inspired me to create the picture. The moment when the rain has just ended and the sun's rays begin to break through the foliage, highlight the contours of the leaves, cast golden glare on the flower petals. Drops of water on the buds seem crystal. The most diverse inhabitants of the forest are carefully leaving their shelters to plunge into the warm sunlight. This is a special atmosphere, it lasts only a couple of moments and from that it seems especially beautiful. The canvas is stretched on wooden stretchers, the edges are covered with acrylic.
