"Red church" Painting

For the study, I went to Ashtarak to paint the Holy Red Church. According to tradition, three sisters living in Ashtarak fall in love with a young man named Sargis. The two older sisters decide to sacrifice themselves in order to bring happiness to the younger one and throw themselves into the deep ravine wearing an apricot and red dress. After learning this news, the younger sister, wearing a white dress, also throws herself into the valley, and Sargis becomes a hermit due to this bitter grief. Later, three churches appear on the edge of the valley: Karmravor, Tsiranvor and Spitakvor.
