About The Artwork
Red Georgian Chair II Being around art and antiques all my life, I'm often inspired to paint real objects...and this being one! A Georgian oak Gentleman's chair, dating to around 1750 I've owned for many years and look at everyday. I love its shape and curves and this painting I think captures the chairs character. In the background are two further paintings of mine, both of the English Lake District. I can deliver anywhere in the world, or you can visit my studio in the north of England by appointment
