Red Roses with Classical Tile Patterns Painting

I took traditional Turkish - Ottoman art classes almost 8 years. During these years, I only did traditional art but right now I am creating modern art works combined with traditional tile patterns. This is a humble piece with wild red roses and elegantly painted tile patterns. I used two types of watercolor paints while creating this piece. I used more vivid colors with red roses since I wanted them to catch the eye. And for the tile patterns, I used home made watercolor paints because I wanted to them to look earthly and natural. In traditional Ottoman art, the artist tend to make their own paints using different types of soils or plant roots. These paints give the the patterns and the painting a unique look, which makes it really hard to imitate. Therefore, I used to homemade paints to give the painting and the patterns this kind of a unique look.
