About The Artwork

The embroidery from the series of embroideries "Red Square, Whispering" is dedicated to Kazimir Malevich's painting "Woman in Two Dimensions", first presented to the public at the exhibition "0.10" in 1915. In the catalog of the 1915 exhibition, the painting is listed under the title "Picturesque Realism of a Peasant Woman in Two Dimensions". On the back of the picture is the abbreviated title: "Woman in Two Dimensions". For the first time this painting was exhibited at the exhibition "0.10" in 1915, and the "Black Square" was also exhibited there for the first time, which was hung by the author in the red corner of the room, where the Slavs always had icons. This embroidery is done with beads
