Reflexes Painting

This painting is important for my artistic history because it represents an area of ​​my Island, Sardinia, to which I am very fond. It is a painting that was performed during an impromptu painting competition and represents a view in the foreground of our crystalline sea, which on the shore has been able to create reflections and small foaming waves. On the top, instead, in the distance, you can appreciate the island of Tavolara. The area is the best known in Sardinia, with the seas of the Costa Smeralda. This is a painting done with acrylic paint on a 0.4 cm rigid canvas panel, which needs to be framed. I chose this type of technique because the panel, very smooth, allowed me to make the acrylic colors slide better and to render the reflections I wanted to capture to the best. With this painting I wanted to represent the freshness and transparency of my sea, hoping to be able to entice the observer to dive into such a wonder. If instead I wanted to give the painting a more intimate explanation, I would like to represent genuine feelings of simplicity and transparency, of sincerity and purity. I hope my painting conveys positive feelings in the viewer.
