I know that it is hard to see my art in your home, so I wanted to try and ease your fear with some helpful hints. There was a time when I was not into color accents for the home, but when I started my journey into the world of an artist (me). I quickly realized that I loved art, with color... lots of color. I know that color scares you, but don;t be afraid to give it try. Here at Saatachi they give you 7 days to try the piece, and I am sure that once my piece is hanging in your home, you will not want to depart from it. You'll be amazed at how quickly my art will grow on you. When you receive the piece, try hanging it on the wall in a diagonal vertical or horizontal position. I try to leave my signature for other areas on the painting so that the owner can have more than one option for hanging the piece. I've also been told that my art is like having a person near them because it gives off warmth, and feels in a space beautifully.:) Well, I hope that my words of encouragement along with my works of art inspires you to give this piece a try. Trust me when i say that you will receive compliments once people have an opportunity to see it in your beautiful home. I see some of my pieces as a representation of grand gesture, because I believe in fairy tales, and I try to romanticize the paintings I create by thinking of them as a grand gesture. Not all, just some, most......No.... all have to do with communication. It's so hard for people to communicate now, well not just now, but always, it seems. I know that art speaks for itself when it's in a space of it's own, and although I name my paintings to give context and direction, the ultimate destination is up to the viewer and buyer. There are times when I really do not have anything in mind when creating pieces. I am just looking for a flow that is easy, (or maybe not so much looking) I really just go with the flow, which at times can be dynamic, intentional and unintentional to create a beautiful piece of work. Then there are times when life overwhelms my mind and I express myself with the canvas and paint. I am not big with the art industry lingo, (I am learning, self-taught) but, I will say that I paint what I feel, and I love it!. I see myself growing as a artist everyday. I have a million ideas, and a million more that come about when the brush hits the paint and then the canvas. I am inspired by everything. I can never have enough canvas. My ability to create is limitless, I believe, because I never have to pause, I just paint. I let my hand do all the work, and I literally get lost in creating! Enjoy!
