ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting comes from a series of works I made in the summer of 2018 investigating pattern and simplicity. There is a very reduced colour palette, just 3 colours and the paint is daubed across the canvas in loose expressive loops, dots and splashes. This work is across 2 canvasses one slightly smaller than the other. The dimensions of each canvas are 125 x 115cm and 130 x 150cm.
