About The Artwork
An perspective view of one of the roman cities destroyed by the Vesubius; Herculaneum, in the bay of Naples, Italy. Painted in a idealized manner with sun zones left white and shadow zones in ochre, the color of the bricks and stone with those buildings were constructed.
