Romeo and Giulietta Painting

Oil painting on canvas with the pallet knife technique. Hand-painted canvas in a single piece in Italy (made in Italy) by a contemporary artist (I) signed and dated on the back. Colors from extracts and natural powders additivated with raw linseed oil. Vegetable fiber cloth spread with plaster. Dimensions of each painting approx. 85x 150 cm including white frames of about 3-4 cm on each side. Hours of work for the picture about 80. The dimensions are approximate. The manufacturing process I use is my personal and is very complex. 1) I personally prepare the canvas by stretching it on a loom and spreading it with plaster. I leave the canvas with fine sandpaper to dry for a day and make it smooth. 2) I personally prepare the colors starting from powders of vegetable or animal extracts or minerals and adding them with raw linseed oil. I grind the colors and obtain the desired density and imperfections that give greater depth to the painting 3) I must then fix the cloth on a very rigid and heavy support in order to work with very strong and repeated spatula strokes. After each spatula stroke I have to clean the spatula to perform the next spatula stroke .The result is in relief as shown in one of the photos. 4) I have to remove the cloth from the rigid support and let it dry for at least a week before rolling it up for shipping
