ABOUT THIS PAINTING If you are a fan of botanical blooms you will like roses ("rosa" in Italian). These timeless florals symbolize love, courage, and romance. Linda is a female name, symbolising a Beautiful, Pretty, Clean and pure lady. It's a very common name in Italy and in some other European countries.I think that a white rose is the best representation of something beautiful, clean and pure. And the black background? I think that dark backgrounds have always something mysterious to tell us. Also notice the cold blue&white and the warm yellow reflections on the rose.
