About The Artwork
I love Roy Lichtenstein and have successfully referenced part of his works in my paintings numerous times. This is a new series called "ROY loves..." and it always has his female spray can featured in it. An art form I call RETRO POP. This is a multi-paneled work in acrylics on wood and on Lucite. Lucite is attached to a wooden box with four spacers. That gives it the 3 D effect. The wooden part of the painting has a brick texture and I covered it with graffiti style hearts. Signed in the back - ready to hang - wired and with finished sides - tagged with my "DE" tag in the front. Enjoy
