Years ago a settling place for post war immigrants and known for cold water flats and little shops, it still retains some of the old-world flavour . The most known locale is the Montreal Bagel Factory...an all- night bagel emporium and local landmark. But there is also another bagel joint, also on St. Viateur Street just a little to the east. And every day someone takes fresh bagels from there over to the Montreal Bagel Factory...And here is the someone...
