VIEW IN MY ROOM
Painting: Watercolor on Paper.
The background to the creation of this work dates back to my childhood, when I was sent to the village to my grandmother in the distant Transdniestria.
The people of that area seemed unusual to me, they were all outwardly beautiful and strong. I wanted to be like them. They had chickens, cows, pigs, geese, ducks, and other animals in all their yards, as is customary in the villages of those places.
I haven't been to Transnistria for more than ten years, and I really miss those places.
This girl is very similar to Tanya from the same village, she was very economic, beautiful and smart. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about her fate. But I hope everything in her life turned out the best.
I worked on this picture for four months.
