"Star Spangle Banger" 30" X 30" Acrylic on Canvas by Violetta Antonia Sorcini. 2018c. sorcini.com This image is part of my new Abstract series "Ding Bang Dang" musical Pinball game. I was inspired by a flash of hope for from these confusing times where everything seems to be shouting. The ultimate life game, "Star Spangle Banger" examines these thoughts and emotions in a visually entertaining way. I tried to create a more complex sense of space, perhaps an interstellar pinball game. Acrylic paint allows me to work quickly allowing one layer to dry on top slightly transparent to reveal a spacial environment.
