Originally from South Korea, she studied painting at Hongik University before relocating to the United States. Later, she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and now resides in Stockton. During her time in San Francisco, she found inspiration in the city's captivating urban landscapes, celestial panoramas, and diverse surroundings. However, her artistic journey underwent a significant transformation following a profound personal challenge, which catalyzed introspection.
