This work is currently in a pair series, but 2 more works are to be added in different color. This is the first piece where circles, lines and triangles were combined. It is mechanical in form, meant to represent robotics and modern day space technologies. As with prior works, there is more usage of negation to build shapes and form. It is a break away from the black tones used earlier in my work, offering a bright white backdrop against bold primary colors. Stable wire hanging in place. Signed/dated on the back canvas in top corner as with the other works.

I have been painting consistently since 1995, working with only acrylics and canvas in various ways. My work consists of shapes in relation to each other, the balance of those shapes to instigate optics, depth and a feeling that everything is in the right place. I have produced works utilizing right angles, curves, blocks, spheres, and jigsaw-like splotches of paint. I continue to focus on contrasting colors and the lines made using them. I strive to have the work implement certain moods, whether good or bad, using shapes, color and the line, while also keeping in mind my continued thesis of the blending between nature and technology.
