Science, Nature and Everything In-Between 2 Painting

Following my previous work in the series, I have focussed more on my interaction with the canvas. During my studies I would be spending a lot of time going to galleries in central London and working on building my computer. Seeing the different architecture and cityscapes from train windows or walking to each gallery, I found myself overwhelmed. Back where I was staying I was peeling open my broken PC every night for one reason or another, the circuit pathways reminded me of being in London or even looking at the tube maps, also of roads. When I poured my paint exerting more control, I was able to make shapes that resembled both of these things. In the background I retain the natural setting created in the first work. That too felt like I was painting the London skyline. Each colour panel can be its own sunset returning from a long day out.
