About The Artwork

I painted this picture from the memories of the trip. In September, the Black Sea begins to storm. The salty spray of seawater refreshes the face, the hair develops in the wind, and the sound of stormy waves makes you want to listen to forever. Sea foam crashes against rocks, bouncing high. At the same time, the weather is very sunny and warm. That is why, despite the storm, the picture brings positive emotions. Feels warm and fresh at the same time. Additional borders of the canvas are painted so it can be hung with or without a frame as preferred. This original artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. I use all professional packing materials to make sure your artwork gets to you safely wherever in the world you may live. In this painting, I used the traditional multi-layer painting technique. All seascapes are hand-painted by me, Anna Kulak, using professional high light fastness oil paints and high quality stretched canvases, so you will have your original oil painting for life.

Anna Kulak is inspired by the landscapes of the Black Sea and the works of Aivazovsky. Anna considers Aivazovsky to be her teacher, namely his paintings. She spends hours in the Russian Museum, examining Aivazovsky's canvases, trying to figure out exactly how he painted his canvases, in what sequence he put his strokes. Anna Kulak paints her paintings in a multi-layered way of painting. Considers this method the most suitable for seascapes. Anna Kulak is an artist with a mathematical mindset. She is fascinated by the world of higher mathematics and painting. In her paintings, she always uses the principle of the golden ratio and Fibonacci numbers. Perhaps that is why her paintings are so deep and soulful. When you look at her paintings, you always have special feelings that are difficult to describe. And also you hear the sound of a wave, you feel the moonlight or the first rays of the sun. Her paintings are kept in private collections in the U.S., United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Germany, etc.
