About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by a trip the the Virginia Marine Science Museum. This sea turtle was one of the turtles in the museum's care. The texture of the turtle really captured my attention, and I wanted to render it in acrylics. I've used Golden acrylics on Belgian linen. I am a big fan of Belgian linen.
