About The Artwork
This was one of my earlier attempts at loose semi abstract landscapes. i love the way the land mass has turned out. It looks like little cubes stacked on one another. The story of this painting can be told in many ways but the one I like is that of a lone sailor out at sea in his little red sail boat.. I have emphasised the pattern in the birds deliberately, There are may occasions when i have seen this happen in nature and wanted to replicate it.
