Seaing Is Believing Painting

Mixed media original painting, acrylic and beach glass wall art, Seaing is Believing created by artist Rachel Town. This gallery wrapped 24"x36"x3.5" stretched canvas is a surreal abstract view of the beautiful waves depicting a seascape. Large jewelry grade A beach glass personally collected from the shores of Lake Erie are featured throughout the authentic sandy high tide line as the waters are turning rougher as the moon begins to rise and the sun begins to set. This scene was inspired by the sunset on November 27, 2017, in Ashtabula, OH that was a gorgeous orange, pink with lavender streaks. My mini voyager and I didn't get to view it at the beach that day however, we got to see it looking out our window. I painted this from a memory of how much beauty there is in the world still.
