ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork is part of the Dune series and showcases the delicate ancient coastlines, the swirling broken seashells and banks of sand rippled by the tide. This is part 2 of a 4 part series - for companion pieces to make a 2 panel artwork please view Seaspray Whisper Gold 3 The muted tones of beige, cream and light brown offset the metallic gold highlights. The gold changes from a warm light gold to a deeper burnished tone depending on the angle of light. The gold makes a striking combination with the shades of dark smoky blues, brown and charcoal black. This artwork ships in a roll for easy framing. The full size of the artwork is 90x 90cm. It would suit a flat frame measuring 120 x 120cm approximately. The framed image ( the last image in the carousel) is for illustrative purposes and the actual framed image will depend on the type of frame that you choose - float or box frame. The room image shows a FLAT frame with GLASS - Framing can be done at your local framer or a Mobile Framer who comes to you and delivers it. ALTERNATIVELY it can be stretched - the final STRETCHED size is 78 x 78cm - please see indicative detail image. Framing this stretched piece in float frame would add an additional 4cm to the finished size - so it would measure about 82 x 82cm Commission an artwork in size or color combination to suit your interior.

I paint, I create and make things that make me happy. Sounds simple enough... but maybe that's what it should be. I was born in Ireland, grew up in Zimbabwe and have lived in the UK,USA and Australia. Meeting new people and exploring where I live inspires much of my work. I create in a medium appropriate to the inspiration. My artwork finds expression in oils, acrylics, charcoal, mixed media and glass. I use print making, stenciling, texture, fabric and transfers to create multi-layered tactile pieces. You will find my unique artwork in offices, hotels, homes, bars and restaurants in Australia, Europe, USA, Canada, China, Singapore and Southern Africa. I have 14 years of experience consulting on various international projects where the work was created to specification as the majority of the projects required custom made artwork. I understand how to evaluate and select materials that align with aesthetics, compliance and individual needs. I am very comfortable with collaborating on a brief and love the cross pollination of ideas that result from co-designing art work.
