This is the sixth artwork in my "Secret worlds" series. In my Secret worlds series, I reflect on the mysterious intricacies in the depths of our subconscious, which sometimes include our will, shape us and determine our present and future. This series of artworks was inspired by reflections on the temporality of the famous sociologist of the last century Alfred Schütz. Have you ever thought that it is not enough to be “close to space”, it is also necessary to be “close in time”? Indeed, only in this case can we really recognize the experience of the other, that is, construct our joint experience: “During the flight, the birds grew older together, as my observations indicate that you, too, followed this event. Thanks to modern technologies and means of communication, we have become much closer to each other. Closer enough to understand how different and so different our world is. We get to know this world and get to know each other, but we can do this through the prism of our personal experience. This original painting is perfect for any modern interiors: living room, dining room or bedroom. This artwork was created using acryl pigments and stretched cotton canvas. A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV rays and dust. The canvas is stretched on wooden frame. The sides are painted. The artwork is ready to hang. Every person is unique. Each of us has our path, our own life experience, which shapes us, making us different from others. Therefore, I want to tell you a little about myself so that you can better understand me and my painting. I was born in Ukraine. For me, it is a bright, colorful, sunny, and beautiful place. Greenery, sun, endless blue sky, cornfields, smiles, the anticipation of happiness and love... This is how I remember it. Then we moved to the Far North. To such a cold and snowy Norilsk with its ascetic, harsh, gray-white landscape. And also with an endless polar night and yellow lanterns that fill the void with meaning. There is a special charm in this. Although the understanding of this harsh beauty came to me much later, after I left Norilsk for good. When I grew up and became independent in my choice, I found my city - this is Moscow. I adore Moscow for its energy, speed, dynamics, brightness, and sometimes for the gray sky because it reminds me of the harsh and deserted north. That is why in my works I choose certain colors that are colored with a meaning that I understand. I approach the choice of color intuitively. I try to convey my emotions and feelings to them. And that's why I love abstraction. It allows me to convey not only a visual image, but to reflect my emotions, which is also much important for me.
