Segments Painting

In this cycle, I focus on the issues of deconcentration, lack of focus caused by the inevitable reception of too much information and aggressive visual stimuli. The world and the notion of normalcy are changing rapidly, and thus the collective human consciousness is giving birth to new phenomena. Despite our defense mechanisms and the installation of "protective filters", none of us is immune to the daily destructive attacks of popular content and propaganda that, to say the least, leave a mark. These traces, as well as their outlines, are the subject of my current research. I try to show the intermittent process of thought flow, the complexity of the path of one most banal and simple thought, the phenomenal nature of the association and its close connection with sensory experience and the infinite number of possibilities and combinations that develop and live in our minds. As a central theme, I took precisely that constrained, unformed, unspoken thought, which got lost somewhere on its long journey and did not find its place in the field of conscious experience, but remained partially unformed. As such, I can only instinctively feel it and try to turn it into a work of art and in that way bring it to its destination, which is to make it understandable, comprehensible, and thus accessible to the observer / listener.
