This painting depicts my wife and young son as we were walking to the top of a hill overlooking Beilstein in Germany while visiting my wife's parents. It was a rainy, overcast day, but I remember it being a very fun and happy memory. This is why I chose to make the sky sunny and cheerful. Written throughout the pattern in the sky is a message to the youth to walk the path before them without fear, and to be joyful in life. Text within painting: Seh un Dechder vunn Pennsilfaani:
