This creation was inspired by the ceremonial fever of Burning Man. Living is Reno, Nevada, I'm profoundly drenched in the culture of this phenomenal event. "Emerging from the Shadow Cave" is a direct result of the amazing philosophy behind Burning Man. It's an image of the “conscience and collective memory” of humans coming out of the darkness stepping into the brilliant light of pure beauty. The painting is signed on the back and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. I coat my work twice with UV Archival Varnish to protect the painting and place felt pads on the back to protect the wall. The artwork is on 1.5" canvas and all four sides are painted and ready to hang.

If Bernd’s wooden pieces are ancient in nature, his abstracts are at the opposite of the spectrum of time and can be looked at as futuristic. His abstracts are neon bright and striking to the eye with pops of color. They capture the viewer and whisks them into a landscape that conjures up atmospheric realms and otherworldly images.
