Self-portrait. Front. is a fragmentation which leads to its continuity. We can see reference to Klein’s anthropometry. On the other side, the part of the face is a reference to the integrity of the subject which never can’t be whole and that’s why it’s always changing. We can call this «deconstructivism». It's interesting how my face looks at this painting, it looks almost ugly. I used red color as a protest towards a glamorous representation of women, when the women are supposed to always look young and beautiful no matter what they are feeling inside at the moment. I don't want to have to look pretty all the time, sometimes I just want to look the way I look at the moment.
