I was born in 1983 in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) and still live there. Since 2017 I am a member of the St. Petersburg Creative Union of Artists (IFA). My favourite artists are Kandinsky, Filonov, Miro, Pollock, Schiele. From now living artists - Vladimir Shinkarev, Julia Linzbach. Not even certain works of art but creative methods of these artists fill me with inspiration. I am inspired by old cracked walls, with falling off stucco and drips of paint. . I prefer to work in oils as they allow to work for long, crayon for its easy drawing, watercolor for its transparency. I always try to find the new ways of applying the material. I believe that understanding (especially when it comes to abstraction) is completely unnecessary and sometimes it can even distort our perception. I want the audience to trust their imagination while looking at paintings and to see whatever they want. With this, to know about the author's interpretation of the picture is not only optional, but also undesirable. Thus, I claim the principle of intellectual liberty in art not only for the author, but also for the viewer.
