About The Artwork

As viewers engage with the painting, they are invited to ponder the enduring allure of desert landscapes, to appreciate the significance of spiritual landmarks, and to find inspiration in the harmony between human existence and the natural world. The painting serves as a visual meditation on the profound mysteries of the desert. Through the medium of watercolor, "Serenity" captures the essence of the desert's austere beauty and the enduring spirit of those who traverse its vastness. It is a painting that encourages us to embrace the solitude and contemplation of the desert, to honor the rich cultural heritage of the region, and to find inspiration in the timeless stories written in its sands. The one-of-a-kind original painting will serve as a great housewarming gift or if you choose an interior decoration for your cozy home. This artwork will look good in the interior of any style.

Self-knowledge is what my art gives me. I've learned to enjoy the process, that's what I like most about watercolor. I work mainly in the wet technique, because that's how watercolor shows its maximum potential. The result is always unpredictable, because the watercolor does half of the work and I like that bit of uncertainty that I can't change. I complete the painting and the painting completes me. The granularity of the pigments, the undertones, the airiness - that's why I love watercolor. I really like to experiment and paint not only with traditional watercolor tools such as brushes, but also with bags, napkins, sponges, etc. I like to paint on large formats as I feel more free to do so. The main idea of my art is to give people an opportunity to understand themselves and their attitude by looking at familiar things, to discover simple things anew. I draw on free subject matter, it's more important for me to feel what I want to depict, whether it's an apple or a street in Italy. I'm interested in exploring color combinations and their effect on people in my work. I try to capture the essence of what is being portrayed without being too detailed, leaving the viewer free to imagine. I'm inspired by the space around me, the way nature and man live together.
