Seven Shots Too Many Painting

This is a reactive piece on paper. It's one of 3. I rail at the number of shots fired to subdue a suspect. In this particular piece circles and dots notate the 7 shots...and I count them three times in this piece. There are 2 others paper pieces, the first has seven shots and the second has seven shots twice. I cannot explain why I count them this way...but suffice to say...seven shots is too many. We must deal with the violence built into our society. My belief is that we are a violent nation while the European nations have deal with guns and protected their societies better than we have. These pieces are dry mounted to foam core.
