About The Artwork
I am often inspired by my friends who stay up late nights after work, when everyone is asleep they work tirelessly day after day to create something beautiful. When nobody is watching, and when everyone else is watching TV or wasting time, these guys are grinding for years to sharpen skill and cultivate passion. The shaping bay is a dark room, on either side a long fluorescent lights a the same height as the board rack. This makes it possible for each imperfection to cast a shadow, and the careful eye of the craftsman shapes this piece of foam into a piece of art.
