About The Artwork
Acrylic painting on canvas, stretched on wooden frame. Measurement: 40*60 cm Style: Dot Art, Pointillism. Year: 2021. Im in love with water , water creatures , fishes, corals, seaweeds ,with everything what's moving or not moving , under the water. But im also a big fun of eating underwater creatures, im sorry, but fish is a big source of omega3 , so i hope you like it too ?. "Shrimp cocktail" was born with a funny story which happened to me a few months ago, when i decided to cook shrimps first time in my life (im 35 years old lady ?) , never ever cooked shrimps before. Expert Google, YouTube and expert sister from Australia gave me instructions what and how to do with small grey sea creatures - shrimps. I understood.... It will be not easy to clean it, so i opened bottle of red wine to help me from boring one hour separation of armor from meat. I did a great job ?, just like chef , really proud with myself. Then , during marinade preparation i realized that i have no garlic. Of course i run to the closest supermarket , it took me about 5 min . Coming back home i remembered about the CAT - Leonardo , who probably would love something which smells like fish . And Yes... I found Leonardo eating my shrimps ... Thank god, and thanks to Leo - only half. At the end, i cooked delicious shrimps ... And fall in love with them. Next day I started my new painting called "Shrimps Cocktail" . Oxana Lazari is a young psychedelic artist working in dot art technique . Born in the north of Moldova, small town called Glodeni. Graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Moldavian State University. Self-taught artist, started her career in 2018 as a hobby. Today she is a professional artist. Oxana Lazari's works are in private collections around the world - Australia, America, New Zealand, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Ukraine, Poland, Canada. The main themes of Oxana's works - the underwater world, space, as well as flora and fauna - can sometimes be combined with each other. So, on one canvas you can see an astronaut, a spaceship, as well as fish and corals. Most of the works are visually layered and like a puzzle to the human imagination. The longer you look, the more you see, and it surprises you again and again. The dense filling of the canvas, the deep composition and the repetition of motifs are striking: spirals, circles, decorative symbols form a kaleidoscope of clearly traced details.
