About The Artwork
I drew this painting back in April 2022 the reason of painting this is to show how depression actually kills the person from inside People think depression is sadness. That it’s crying and dressing in black, but people are wrong. Depression is the constant feeling of being numb. It’s being numb to emotions, being numb to life. You wake up in the morning just to go back to bed again. I’ve read a quote of Laurell K. Hamilton on depression “There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds.”
