Silencio Painting

Series of artwork about meditation and yoga. Exploring the moments in which we are meditating or practicing yoga, where we are neither in presence nor in absence but in consciousness. In this case it shows us silence. This piece shows a woman meditating, when we meditate we can be in a state of presence and absence, however, we are in the middle of these two concepts, we are in consciousness. We are in the here and now and we can project ourselves into the past, the future or deeply internalize ourselves, we are a presence, we exist present or at least that is what we believe and with that presence we relate to everything that surrounds us; the universe, the planet, our fellow human beings, the animals and all kinds of energies, many of which we are not even aware of what we interact with. Almost in the same way, in the absence we are also its presence since, if not, these concepts would not exist, however, we believe that in the absence there is a non-existence of the presence, but that is only an illusion.
