Silo 34 Painting

The painting is dedicated to the place where we feel like at home and the circumstances that are creating the value of it. The title of this work is my best friend home address as a dedication where we spent most of our days as kids playing in the yard. “Šilo 34” / Memories / Childhood If I had to name an object that would be most associated with childhood, then it would be one specific house at Šilo 34. My yard friends lived there, with whom we used to play pranks, my first and foremost love from Moscow, whom I forcibly kissed on the cheek, but who later fell in love with my sister and also Britney Spears. An aunt who hated children and had no children, (all kids hated her too) , my best friend who was a writer, her mother ,who, like my mother, did not allow us to smoke, another friend, who’s sexuality, for some reason I tried to reveal by asking her to lift her top and walk around to become at least a little more naughty. Her older sister who beated her and screamed at her, another girl with chubby lips, raised by her grandparents and mother, jumping rope, watching MTV at other friends' houses, playing "square" with a ball when you had to knock out your opponents. Constantly chapped to the knees, because I liked to run around a lot, to climb the treetops. Climbing over a fence to pick apples and pears in a forbidden yard, vomiting after eating illegal unripe grapes, teasing a neighbor by calling him nasty names while hiding in the bushes, writing a diary with all my friends in turn, my sister who “cheated” on me by writing a diary with my best friend “a writer”.A dog who was shot by the police and wasn’t buried. Rotting on garages, lighting a bonfire and some people jumping over it, dressing up and collecting candy at Mardi Gras. Also warring with children from the other yard over territory and crying over a lost teddy bear. All this and much more took place at one and the same address, next to the object of my house at Šilo 34.
