About The Artwork

I've kept it flowing with this 12w x 24h x 1.5 inches heavy-duty gallery-wrapped canvas. It is made with acrylic fluid paints. The sides are painted, so no frame is required. You may add a frame if you so desire. What I see in this piece is a result of viewing the painting once it was completely dry. My grandparents, in their youth, moved their young growing family to New York City from St. Thomas VI, with the promise that the streets of New York was paved with silver and gold. Opportunities awaited them. They were no different than anyone else who had the same dreams and aspirations of a better life for their family. It worked out for my grandparents and the generations that followed. Amen! I hope the viewer will see the fluidity and magic that was attached to the ideals my maternal grandparents held onto with optimism and hope. A dream can become realized if you dare to take the leap. This piece is signed on the back, titled, and dated. It is also signed on the front and arrives with a certificate of authenticity. It is wired and ready to hang on your walls straight from the package.

I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
