• After I got rid of the bad cold I got from a 1/1/20 return flight home from Hong Kong, I painted this “Singin’ the Blues” to explain why and how music can help the sick with a runny nose caused by the Chinese Coronavirus that had traveled the whole world. • Predicted to kill up to 60% of the world population if unchecked, the virus will first attack the weak, the old, and the poor with no access to drugs, treatments, guidance, and testing; and will be the first to go to Heaven except perhaps Joe Biden, and the anchors at CNN. • To keep them stay alive, those infected can try to sing if they can, just like the man in my abstract shown singing the blue. As a therapy, music can lift the spirit, calm anxiety, ease stress, and bring back happy memories listening from songs of Elvis, the BeeGees, Tiny Tim, ABBA, and Sanatra. • In other words, singing and music listening can help improve and prolong living through emotional healing. Even though the man in my abstract is sick, it’s ironic to see that he still has one thing big to give.
