SkyScape VI – Hampton Looking East – The inspiration for this painting, and all the SkyScape series comes from looking at the same landscape and scenery every day, but noticing and capturing the scene during a moment of particular beauty. This piece is of a cloud formation where the sunrise produced color changes in such a small area that I chose a smaller canvas to emphasize this. The photo for this painting was also taken in Omaha. SkyScape VI was crafted from a palette of 33 colors and was completed in September 2019.

Painted with professional grade acrylic paints and gel medium. Sealed with UV resistant clear, gloss sealant. The canvas is 1.5 inches thick, unframed and painted black around the edges. Textured points at the edges range from .25 to .5 inches off the canvas. This artwork is signed in the lower right corner with the artist's signature, a lower case "e". Wire for hanging is attached.
